Careers at the NSC

The National Skills Commission’s role is to provide expert advice and national leadership on the Australian labour market and current, emerging and future workforce skills needs. We also have an important role in simplifying and strengthening Australia’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) system.

We are a motivated and dynamic organisation of around 150 staff with a diverse range of skills and expertise. We offer a positive, productive and supportive work environment and are committed to providing an inclusive workplace that harnesses the skills and attributes of our staff.

Pathways

NSC employees are employed under the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (Non-SES Employees) Section 24(1) Determination 2022-2.
